Privacy
ZerX collects nothing. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting, no account and no network code, with one exception below.
Updates
The App Store version updates through the App Store and makes no requests of its own. The direct-download version (planned) has an update check that is off by default; when on, it downloads https://zerxapp.com/appcast.xml over HTTPS with no identifiers.
Folder access
On first launch you choose your home folder in the standard macOS dialog; that is the only place ZerX can read or delete. Nothing it reads leaves your Mac.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may keep standard server logs under its privacy policy.
